If anything is typically Dutch, it’s the windmills. The first windmill was built in the 13th century.
The oldest windmill you can find today dates from the 15th century. There are approximately 85 windmills in Groningen, where I live.
The beauty of photographing windmills is that they are often found in beautiful environments, especially if they are close to reflecting water.
On this page you can see a few windmills that I have photographed.
