NEW YORK CITYSCAPES
Manhattan is actually not that big. It covers a total area of 23.7 square miles (59.1 km²). Within those miles is plenty of diversity for photographers, but you have to go outside those miles to see some great skyline views.
The nice thing about Manhattan is that it is located between two rivers (East River and Hudson River) that make it easier to photograph Manhattan from different angles.
So for landscape (cityscape) photographers it’s definitely worth traveling to the other side of these rivers to capture wonderful views during sunset or sunrise. On this page, you can also view a variety of other photos I took from the skyline.
